OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT o Supervise the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement; oversee yearly performance review and goal setting. o Work with Assistant Director of Marketing, Assessment & Technology to create targeted marketing strategy to educate students, faculty, and staff on opportunities available and employers seeking St. Lawrence candidates. o Design and implement metrics to measure student applications, employer outreach, recruitment programming, etc.; assess and report on metrics; use data to inform strategies and make continual improvements. o Team with Office of Institutional Research and Assistant Director of Employer Engagement to coordinate and manage First Destination Survey for career outcomes; submit draft of Executive Summary. o Oversee systems, processes, and policies in place for employer approval and job/internship posting to ensure compliance with State and Federal law, St. Lawrence and industry standards. INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS o Actively participate in Center's evaluation, assessment, and reporting practices. o Work directly with Career Excellence colleagues, faculty, staff, and other key University partners to develop and maintain employer relationships. o Conduct outreach to alumni and parent employers to strengthen existing relationships, initiate and develop new strategic partnerships leading to St. Lawrence student recruitment. o Collaborate with Advancement and Senior Associate Director of Internships to increase number of alumni and parents acting as internship sponsors/site hosts. o Assist Career Coaches in interacting with employers for programming needs. o Aid with special events as needed. Such events may include Orientation, Admissions Visit Days, Board of Trustee Weekends, Alumni Executive Council Weekends, Family Weekend, Homecoming Weekend, Reunion Weekend. o Attend Laurentian Events as requested. PROGRAMMING & TEACHING o Coordinate Vilas Scholar Program and annual trip to New York City for 6-9 scholarship recipients. o Manage budget and logistics for travel, lodging, entertainment, etc.; schedule employer site visits; engage students in virtual programming when in-person trip is not possible. o Contact Admissions each Fall for names of scholarship recipients; communicate with University Advancement on program changes or issues. o Assist in teaching the Career Classes as needed. Other duties as assigned or requested to meet departmental goals and objectives. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT o Actively seek out resources and information to stay up-to-date on industry best practices, employer recruitment & hiring trends, changes in career development, diversity & inclusion, and your specific job responsibilities. o Participate in professional development meet-ups and webinars with our member associations; make use of online resources. o Attend a yearly professional development conference as office budget allows. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a liberal arts discipline, business, or related field with 8 years of progressively responsible experience, 6 of which have been in an employer relations/employer development role in collegiate career services or a profit/non-profit recruiting, HR, or related setting required. o A demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion is required. o Proven leadership and supervisory skills in a professional environment. o Self-starter with ability to create innovative, successful employer engagement strategies and recruitment programming for students. o Knowledge and understanding of best practices in career development, employer hiring, and workplace trends. o Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and provide exceptional customer service. o Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining productive relationships with a wide range of external and internal constituents including employers, alumni, parents, students, faculty, and staff. o Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail and meet deadlines. o Strong analytical, collaboration/team, organizational, program development, time management, interpersonal, and presentation skills (in-person and virtual, small and large groups). o Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary for communicating with small and large audiences (one-on-one, student classrooms, campus leaders, faculty groups, professional associations, external constituents). o Knowledge of experiential learning/internships, job search strategies, interviewing, resume and cover letter writing, and networking best practices. o Ability to infuse skill/competency development into programs and services to increase students' career readiness. o Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Zoom. o Ability to travel and work non-standards hours, including nights and weekends, is required. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in higher education administration, business, or related field with 6 years of progressively responsible experience, at least 4 of which have been in an employer relations/employer development role in collegiate career services or a profit/non-profit recruiting, HR, or related setting. o Experience working with students and employers from diverse backgrounds strongly preferred. o Experience with Handshake career management platform strongly preferred. o Familiarity with Qualtrics and/or other survey tools preferred. o Familiarity with platforms such as Vault, VMock, LinkedIn/LinkedIn Learning a plus.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, Organization Development & Training, HR Recruitment & PlacementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
